Literacy tutor training starts in August

The Literacy Center announces Summer Tutor Training classes.
The morning training sessions will meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following dates: July 31, August 2, 7 and 9.
Following the completion of training, volunteers will be matched with an adult who wants to learn to read, improve his or her writing or math skills, prepare for the GED, learn English as a Second Language, or obtain U.S. Citizenship.
