Attleboro downtown ‘streetscape’ project focus of garden club meeting

The Attleboro Garden Club will hold a joint meeting of the day and evening groups on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Sweet Club House on Bank Street. Gary Ayrassian, Attleboro Director of Planning and Development, will speak on the Downtown Streetscape project and answer questions. Betsy Whitfield is hospitality chairperson with Jessie Murphy and Karla Bassler on committee.
Attleboro Garden Club members have access to National Garden Clubs education programs, including Landscape Design, Garden Study, Environmental Studies and Flower Show schools held in Massachusetts and across the nation. Flora in Winter, "Passport to China," is held jointly at the Worcester Art Museum and at Tower Hill Botanical Garden in Boylston, Jan. 24 - 27.
Both sites will display dramatic, colorful floral arrangements inspired by works of fine art at the Worcester Art Museum.
Attend workshops and lectures for all ages, special opening night events and a concert.
