Park & Rec plans winter activities

Little Explorers is a parent and child class. They learn important skills such as sharing, taking turns and learning to express themselves among their peers.
These are all important roles in their development which helps foster self esteem and confidence. Children will enjoy stories, crafts, puppets, singing and parachute playtime.
The cost for the seven week class is forty dollars. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 9:15 to 10am for two and three years old, Wednesdays from 10:15 to 11am for two to five years old, and Wednesdays from 1 to 1:45pm for two to five years old. The session starts February 12 and runs for seven weeks.
Classes are held at the Mason Field House on Elm Street.
Dance is held at Mason Field in three disciplines: tap, jazz, and ballet. Each class is 45 minutes long and held at Mason Field. Classes are held at the Mason Field House on Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings. For children age 3 to grade eight. Sessions are eight weeks long and are sixty dollars each. Gymnastics is held at the North Attleborough High School gymnasium. Children are instructed in the fundamentals of balance beam, uneven parallel bars, vault, and floor exercises. Classes are an hour each and go for six weeks. Classes start on March 2. For children age three to grade 8.
