Marjorie E. Hodges, 80, of Attleboro died early Thursday morning, May 8, 2008 in Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Charles Hodges who passed away in 1986.
Born April 7, 1928 in Norwood, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Eleanor (Barney) Richards and beloved step-daughter of Mary Julia Richards of Attleboro.
Marjorie worked for many years at Texas Instruments and was a longtime communicant of All Saints Church, now All Saints Anglican Church in Attleboro.  She was an avid knitter and was a caring and loving woman who was always there to help. Marjorie especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamella Wheelock and her husband, Ronald of Attleboro and Emily Jane Young and her husband, Michael of South Attleboro; three sons, Jay Hodges and his wife, Kathy of Attleboro, Charles Hodges, Jr. and his wife Virginia of North Attleborough and Richard Hodges and his wife Joyce in New Hampshire; two sisters, Myrtle Wass in Nevada and Sandra Macomber of Attleboro; three brothers, Harold Richards of Greenfield, Donald Richards of Uxbridge and Allen Richards in South Carolina.  Also 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was sister of the late Robert Richards.
A funeral was held in All Saints Anglican Church, Attleboro on Tuesday.  Burial was held privately at a later date in Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield.
