Albert E. Redmond

Albert E. Redmond, 73, of Attleboro, a member of the local band “The Good Old Boys,” died quietly on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007 at Golden Living Center Bristol (formerly Pleasant Manor) in Attleboro.
He was the loving husband to the late Hazel A. Redmond for 35 years.
Born in Brockton on June 28, 1934, he was a son of the late John P. and Mildred M. (Crocker) Redmond.
Albert attended Brockton public schools until moving to Attleboro where he resided for over 60 years.
In addition to his band, Mr. Redmond had been employed as a press operator for Automatic Machine Co. and also Texas Instruments in Attleboro. He was a member of the Assembly of God church in South Attleboro and enjoyed being a volunteer for the North Attleborough Senior Center. Mr. Redmond was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
He is survived by a daughter, Annette Hines of New Hampshire; a sister, Shirley Snow of Massachusetts; a brother, john Redmond of Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Heather Hines; a sister-in-law, Caroline Carlson; a cousin, Dianne Dubois; son-in-law, Gregory Hines and many close friends including Marion Nason of Attleboro.
He was brother of the late Charles, James and Robert Redmond.
Services were held privately. Arrangements entrusted to the SPERRY & McHOUL FUNERAL HOME, 15 Grove St., North Attleborough.
