Paul Frederick Ebert

Paul Frederick Ebert, 63, of Hoppin Avenue, Riverside section of East Providence; formerly of Pitas Avenue, South Attleboro, died on Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at his residence surrounded by the love of his family. He was the husband of Alexis C. (Brown) Ebert to whom he was married on March 16, 1985.
Born in Attleboro on July 27, 1944, he was a son of the late Lester William and Frances L. (Rogers) Ebert. Raised and educated in Attleboro, Mr. Ebert was a 1963 graduate of Attleboro High School.
Mr. Ebert moved to Riverside in October after having resided in South Attleboro for the previous 10 years. Before moving to South Attleboro, he was a resident of North Attleborough and Hillsboro, NH and Greenfield, NH.
A professional truck driver, Mr. Ebert retired in 2004 from Fowler's Express in Easton where he was employed for four years. Prior to that position, he was employed by C.B.L. Trucking of Canton, Massachusetts and was also a self-employed truck driver for many years.
A longtime fan of hot rods, motorcycles and antique stock car racing, his pride and joy were his cards including a 1930 Ford Roadster.
As a car enthusiast, Mr. Ebert raced at Lakeville at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk.
He was a former member of the Bristol County Street Rods club, the Attleboro, Massachusetts Moose Club and enjoyed spending time with his friends with the Boston Area Roadsters. In recent years, he enjoyed time spent on Martha's Vineyard.
While living in New Hampshire he was a volunteer member of the Town of Greenfield Fire Department.
In addition to his wife of 22 years, he leaves four children: Tiffany Ebert of Manchester, NH; Dean R. Ebert of Pawtucket; Dennis W. Ebert of Pawtucket and Ashley C. Ebert of Riverside, a granddaughter: Karina Mae Hinton of Riverside; a sister: Sandra Burns of Attleboro; a brother: David E. Ebert of Attleboro and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held Jan. 4.
Burial was private.
