Letter to the Editor: Generosity of all who gave to these causes is appreciated

To the Editor:

Thank you and Seasons Greetings. The response to our plea and your ad for Stop & Shop gift cards has been incredible. The kind generosity of so many residents, businesses and veterans' organizations will surely impact the lives of many North Attleborough veterans and their families.
One young man walked into the office Friday afternoon and told me he got a Christmas bonus from work…he took quite a bite of that bonus, to help our efforts.
And thanks to the members of American Legion Chapter 49 for hanging Christmas wreaths at the monuments.
"Peace on Earth" to all our service men and women.
