Strong support for Broadway Revue and Auction made it successful

To the Editor:
The Attleboro Area Council of Churches enjoyed a very successful "Broadway Revue and Auction" due to the support of many people and businesses.
We extend heartfelt thanks to the Attleboro Elks Lodge #1014 for the use of the Antler Room for the event. The buffet prepared by Young's Catering was both scrumptious and plentiful. We could not have asked for better entertainment. The Cumberland Lincoln Community Chorus' presentation of Broadway songs was not only wonderful, but fun to sing along with.
Special thanks are extended to Joanne Johnson and the fundraising committee for all the effort organizing the evening.
We would like to thank our guest auctioneers, including Rep. Betty Poirier, Tim Nay of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, Candace Sallale of Edward Jones Financial, John McAfee from the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Shirley Lucke of the Memorial Baptist Church in Seekonk. Also thanks to guest auctioneers Brother Robb Russel of the National Shrine of LaSallette, the Rev. Garvin Warden of Centenary United Methodist Church and Mr. Gary Poholek.
We want to thank everone who donated to our event through program ads and auction items.
