North Attleborough -

To the Editor:

We are two 16-year-old high school students looking to make a difference. Recently, Lenore's Pantry sent out an SOS in the local newspaper asking for donations as the pantry is nearly bare. As two active members in the community of North Attleborough, we decided to help them out.
Our goal is to deliver 10,000 canned goods or non-perishable items to Lenore's Pantry on National Make a Difference Day, Oct. 27. With nearly 10,000 household in the North Attleborough community, we are hoping to reach our goal of one can/ non-perishable good per household. We are asking for your help in this time of need.
We have several drop off points throughout North Attleborough (see list at right) where residents can bring canned goods. The boxes have been placed in local establishments throughout the community.
On Make a Difference Day, cans and non-perishable goods can also be brought to North Attleborough Electric Department from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Thanks you for your time and consideration. It will be greatly appreciated at Lenore's Pantry and by us.
If you would like to contact us we can be reached at NAmakesadifference@yahoo.com.
