Letter to the Editor: Thanks from the RML

To the Editor:
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and everyone at the library, I would like to thank the Friends of the Richards Memorial Library for a very successful book sale this September. Many volunteers invested many hours to bring the sale about and I thank all of you.
Once again, a very special thank you must be directed to Judith Lewis of North Attleborough. Mrs. Lewis is a former Trustee of the library and is on the Board of the Friends of RML. For several years she has also been in charge of the book sale. It would be hard to imagine the sale running so smoothly or being as rewarding as it is without her efforts. All of us who benefit from the library’s programs are indebted to her.
The Richards Memorial Library is a municipal department operated with public funds. But it is the Friends of RML who support programs for children and adults, supply databases for North Attleborough residents such as Learning Express and Access Science, and fund the library’s popular museum pass program.
Again, many thanks to everyone involved.
Francis C. Ward
Director, RML
