Plainville Candidates for Town Clerk Speak-up

Four Plainville residents are vying for the position of town clerk. They’ll discuss their qualifications tonight at the Plainville Senior Center, 7:30 p.m. The Town Election will be held at the Beatrice Wood Elementary School, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

 Anne Marie Eisele is currently the assistant assessor for the town of Plainville, where she’s lived for more than 21 years and raised three children. Eisele has an Associates Degree in accounting, experience in tax preparation, and bookkeeping.

Maureen Dunfey has lived in Plainville for 30 years, raising her four kids, all graduates of Plainville public schools. Dunfey is a graduate of Bridgewater, with eight years experience teaching kindergarten through eighth grade. For 18 years she’s worked for the Park Department, and currently serves as the park director, while also participating in election work.

Ellen Robertson is a native of Plainville and graduate of both Plainville public and King Philip schools. She spent more than a decade working in the Wrentham town clerk’s office, and nine years as Wrentham’s assistant town clerk. She is currently the active assistant town clerk for Norfolk.

 Gene Alsworth is a former Plainville selectman and 32-year resident of Plainville. His background includes experience in business management, computer science, and education. He’s worked locally as an intern with the school board and as chairman of the finance committee. For the last five years, he’s worked as a senior programming analyst.
